Gingham is a wonderful print. It works perfectly with both solids and mixed with other prints.
But pairing gingham with the crispness of bright white, really makes the print stand out! And also gives it a preppy feel. Which is big here in the South!
Other than this shirt being gingham, I love the design and the fit. The most perfect thing about shirts designed for women is shaping darts in the front and the back. That makes this a perfect pattern!
The shirt is Vogue 8772; see the original review here.
The green gingham is indeed gorgeous!!ReplyDelete
Classic + chic. Pairing it with crisp white really DOES make it pop. Fabulous as ever Ms Erica!ReplyDelete
Thanks M. Inez!Delete

Thanks ShawWC! This is my fight the humidity 'do!Delete
I love this outfit. I have been so obsessing over gingham lately and have been trying to find some stretch gingham locally. Now I have really got to make my shirt. I see you looking all slim and trim. Way to go and thanks for sharing.ReplyDelete
Love the weekend montage. All the outfits are cute and the dress is quite nice. But once again, the most striking thing I see is how you have lost years on your face. You look great. Good work and very inspiring. :-)
Thanks Body Design!Delete
Love the composition of the photograph - the shades of green background with the green gingham top and white jeans!ReplyDelete
Thanks Carolyn! My husband has a wonderful eye!Delete
The top is wonderful, but your hair...oooh your hair is bea-u-ti-ful!!!ReplyDelete
I like the white bottoms better. You look very cool.ReplyDelete
