I love white eyelet for summer. It's such a versatile look that will take you from the beach to the dinner and everywhere in between.
I love the back of this dress! I love clothes that juxtapose daring and demure. And this style is a perfect representation of that. (I sewed a bra into the dress.)
And I also love the curved high-low hemline.
This is Vogue 1298. See the original reveiw here.
I know how hot the South is in the summer and you always look so cool and put together. Did you sew bra cups, or use an actual bra sewn in?
ReplyDeleteI used a strapless bra and sewed it in. Thanks Nancy!
DeleteIt is beautiful. I love the back.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dk's Wife! I love the back too!

DeleteThe dress is great and you wear it so well -- your back and shoulders are stunning in it! The boots are a wonderful addition.

DeleteWow! That's gorgeous. Sewing a bra into the dress is such a great idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks Beth!
DeleteI think the best part of this dress is the part we can't see -- the sewn in bra! Is it really easy to do, or could you maybe do a separate post on that? Like how you choose a bra for sewing into a garment, and any hiccups that might occur during the sewing?
ReplyDeleteMaybe... if I have a situation that calls for one. Thanks makingtheflame!
