I am quite surprised at how easy this turned out. I was a little intimidated by the raglan increases but sought help from
here. I had attempted this a while ago, with a
crocheted version which turned out nice but not really the effect that I wanted. Didn't really do any type of modification other than adding rows to the body for additional length. Stopped by
Hancock Fabrics and found a toggle closure similar to the one on the original.
Project Details:
Pattern: Anthropologie Capelet Tutorial
Yarn: Rowan Polar #645 - Winter White
Needles: Size #8US 29" circular
Modifications: Added additional rows to body. I did 9 rows of 1 x 1 ribbing on sleeves and body.
How did you do the sleeves ? Did you use a circular needle ? I can't get all the scrap yarn stitches back on my straight needle without pulling terribly on the rounded nature of the sleeve ?
ReplyDeleteYou know this was almost TEN YEARS AGO! Had I not seen this post, I wouldn't even remember making this. This project was donated many, many years ago.
