What I'm Wearing | Weekend Wear!

Another rainy, windy and kind of chilly day.  But it was pretty at the same time.  We decided to take our little family party to a nearby lake.  I went to the closet and decided to go with something very "J. Crew-esque".
I've mentioned before that I rarely wear heels on the weekend.  A lot of running is something most of my weekends consist of and I have to find a way to still be "cute" and comfy.
Is it bad that I'm longing for bad, rainy weather just so I can have some guilt-free sewing time?!  There is so much on my list that I need to get to.
Wearing:  sweater: last seen here; shirt: Butterick 5526; denim pencil skirt: Vogue 8603; sneakers: Converse All-Star Silver Glitter Athletic shoes.

  3. This is my kind of look. I wear walking shoes everyday as I tend to walk everwhere. I love casual wear I feel so comfortable but cool at the same time. It's how you wear it. Go Girrrl.

  9. You look too cute in this outfit! Thanks for sharing so many ideas with us on how to pair up clothing.

It's so inspiring that most of the things you model you made yourself.

  10. I love love love this look! Baby blue is one of my favorite colors. You would've had plenty of sewing time if you lived in Miami - the weather was awful this weekend :).

  12. I have been eye-balling those glitter Chuck's for over a year and thought I was too old to wear them LOL! I'm going to the mall on my lunch break today. Very cute ensemble. I love that you wear what you want and make your own rules.
