Vogue 9204 - Black & Sheer Blouse and #BrahminRequired for Fall 2016!

Last night, I attended a blogger event to "Celebrate Fall Fashion with Brahmin" at our local Birmingham Brahmin store. It's always so much fun to attend these types of events and hang out with my favorite local bloggers! And it was an opportunity to wear my newly sewn Vogue 9204 black & sheer blouse.
I cut a size 14 and sewed this straight out of the envelepe. I used a poly georgette from Joann's.
For a poly, this fabric cut, sewed and pressed exceptionally well.
Notice how the necktie is made onto the neck of the blouse. I thought that was a cute detail.
One of my favorite details of any shirt is a yoke.
I made sure my seam allowances were neatly trimmed down since they unavoidably would show. I thought about doing French seams, but honestly I wanted to finish and move on. And since this is a very trendy top, I went with very narrow serged seams and nice narrow hems.
I paired my blouse with my white Vogue 9032 pants. And this gorgeous wrislet I was gifted from Brahmin.
Debra Melbourne. This would make a great Christmas gift!

Let me show you some of the fabulousness that's in our beautiful Birmingham Brahmin store:

Aren't these bags gorgeous? And they also offer monogramming for only an additional $10!

  2. You look divine, as always. Lucky to go to a Brahmin event -- they are my very favorite, classic bag. I have had a wristlet in constant use for over three years -- I use it instead of a purse when shopping -- it shows no wear, just as beautiful as when I first bought it. Their great products look even better with you wearing them!

    1. I've already cleaned out my wallet and added everything to the wristlet. It's my new everyday bag now! I've already told Mr. Bunker to add one of these bags to my Christmas stocking! Thank you!

  4. Oh Ms. Erica, this top is so Gorgeous just like the woman wearing it! Absolutely stunning! I have a couple of older Brahmins I've had for a while and think it's high time I get another one...these are truly beautiful bags! Also, I was happy to read you didn't feel like using "french" seams on this beautiful top...sometimes I don't either but feel guilty about it. I admire you and your work, so that statement made me feel better! Stunning outfit!

  7. I have a few Brahmins that I love. I was stalking the Surri Brinley recently and missed out on the website. I called and they told me to call the Alabama store...Low and behold they had it and mailed it to me!!! Unfortunately we don't have a Brahmin in the DC area, nor the Philly area. :-(
