Can you believe it? Another FO! That's two this week. This is the ZigZag Skirt from Interweave Knits Crochet 2005. Another project that was quite simple to make... didn't have to rip out stitches not one time. This skirt fits like a dream and the drape is incredible with a very flattering flared hemline. I once again used LusterSheen in black and white.

This is my latest FO... always great to remove a project from the WIP's list! Since Fall is finally here, I wanted a cute brown shrug because that is one of my favorite Fall colors. This shrug is from Leisure Arts Crochet Shrugs.

Went to my local library today and picked up these books. They have a few cute patterns but not enough to where I'd want to purchase, just borrow.

This is my adaptation of the newsboy cap from FCEC. I guess I'm on the a hat roll this week, but I do plan on finishing my dress by Saturday.

Why are some PETA activist so stupid? I'm pretty sure it's a simpler way to get your point across than assualting someone. On yesterday in Paris, prior to the Chanel Couture show, Vogue editor Anna Wintour was hit in the face with a tofu cream pie by an animal rights activist yelling, "Fur hag!" and made a quick getaway. I tell you what, you hit me in the face with anything especially while I'm wearing a very expensive fur, you BETTER run!

This is fresh off of my hook. This hat worked up really quickly, like about an hour. I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick and a N hook.

In my house, my afghans never get neglected... there is always someone cuddled up in one!

On one of my down periods when I got completely sick of looking at the tiny threads of that dress, I decided to make a kufi style cap for my husband to match the scarf that I made for him.

I have officially been crocheting this dress for 2 weeks now and I hope to be finished this coming week. If you have a copy of the pattern, I am on Row 44. I've been blocking and trying on the entire time and it looks as if this dress will hit right at the knee.
