All you have to do is add shoes, accessories, a handbag and a great pair of sunglasses and you're off!
I've loved this dress since I first made in December.  It was a really simple project to sew and I knew I'd be wearing it also during the hot months.

I found this "little gold diamonds on black knit" fabric at Hancock.  It's 92% poly/8% spandex and has to be hand washed.  My serger did not like this fabric - - AT ALL.  I may need to replace my knives.  I used a zig zag stitch and didn't bother finishing the sleeves or hemming.
I finished the neckline with a handsewn blind stitch.  When I tested a swatch, I didn't like the way a machine hem looked on the fabric.
