I Need This!

12:00 PM

I'm all for one-stop dressing and you all know that I love a jumpsuit. I kinda swooned a bit when I was reading blogs this morning and saw the beautiful Zoe Saldana in this one! Yep, I'll be making this as soon as I find the perfect weight silk crepe de chine!

With the right amount of tweaking, I'll have this look for early Fall stylishness!

  2. LOL! Not purchased, but I'd want a peep-toe bootie.

  3. That will be so sharp and a peep-toe bootie would just set it off. You have me re-thinking jumpsuits!

  8. I don't understand the need to say you hate jumpsuits. I'm trying to convert anybody. :-)

  10. You really have me thinking about jumpsuits now, yours look so classic. I think some of us were burned by the baggy bum parachute suits of the past. Now Erica you are the queen of styling and it was great for you to respond with your shoe choice. Can I make a blogging post request? Would you ever think about a seasonal accessory trends advice (what's hot what's not) and doing some age appropriate trend advice too. In my fifties now I am losing my confidence with trends with accessories and nothing dates an outfit like the same old. How do prime time women look on trend but not like they are trying to look like their daughters? Women my age would kill for that kind of wisdom. Only you would know how to do it.

  11. I have a sleeveless jumpsuit, very similar in style. Being a fan of jumpsuits all my life I'm eagerly waiting for the September issue of BurdaStyle, since I've spotted a jumpsuit pattern in the magazine (http://www.burdafashion.com/ru/index/1270777-1000019-1783085-1783089-1783114.html - The Russian BS website always gets ahead on the previews...). Most people are saying this issue will be filled with the usual "folklore crap", but since this preview came out my opinion is quite the opposite!

  13. Just watched Star Trek the other night and was thinking that Zoe Saldana looked ridiculously great in everything wshe wore. (Of course I'm not jealous, not a bit.)

I remember wearing jumpsuits in the 90s and loving them. So comfortable. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

  15. What color would you use? The same tanish shade? I was wearing a Jumpsuit the first time I met my husband (35 years ago), so no one can convince me they aren't flattering.
