Once again, I've taken inspiration from one of my pins. I saw this picture and I knew I had to re-create this look:
It was a really simple look with a denim shirt and leopard print skirt. I used Vogue 8773, view A. I found the fabric at Hancock. It's a poly faux suede. I liked it because it has a nice texture and it has a slight amount of stretch. This skirt is unlined. I'm usually not a fan of unlined skirts or dresses, but this fabric was heavy enough for me to feel comfortable wearing.
I had to lengthen the skirt by 2 inches. And I cut 16, but it was so big at the waist that it was gaping in the back. And it was also a little boxy. I took in the waist and tapered it slightly. I didn't bother with the instructions... it's a princess seam pencil skirt
This is a great little pattern with endless fashion opportunities. I plan to make another one in basic black and not to mention the linen versions for Spring!

Ohhhh, that is totally way hot on you! Rrrrrrrow! I just got back from seeing Puss In Boots...and YOU would be Kitty HOT Paws, hehe.
Sigh. It must be nice to have long legs...
I like your styling much better than the original photo's - your necklace in particular. As everyone has said, a great look for you.
love it.....I will have to try this princess seam skirt.....btw...love your heels too!
You look 100% better than the original. Head to toe flawlessness.
Totally HOT!
I love the outfit. The combination of the sexy skirt with the denim top is hot this season!
I love this, Erica! Brickhouse! I still need to get a pair of leopard/animal print pumps. I have on my Sam Edelman leopard ballet flats today.

Now I know what to do with the leopard fabric I just bought at A Fabric Place! Love the look!
Great look, luv the animal print paired with denim.
Outfit great. Shoes kicking, You go Girl!
TOO Cute! I look forward to the days where I can just shrug past the instructions......
And as an aside I love your hair. i am a natural as well, but no matter how much I twist, wrap, condition or style my hair doesn't take on a texture or styling as well as yours seems to in pictures. Can't wait to see what you make next!
This is also a fave look of mine (I first saw it some time ago at Jessica Quirk's blog http://whatiwore.tumblr.com, and saved the picture as inspiration).
You look perfect!
...and recreate the look, you did! I love your look! Great accessorizing!
