I wake up this morning and even though they have sustained a great deal of catastrophic damage, I'm glad to see Nawlins' (New Orleans) still on the map! I prefer my hurricane in a styrofoam cup walking down Bourbon Street. According to the storm tracker, Katrina may be coming our way late tonight.

Don't come this way!

About Me
- Erica B.
- Welcome to my DIY Style blog! How many times have you seen clothes in an upscale department store or a posh boutique and cringed at the sight of the price tag? I've done it many times and have said to myself, "I could make that"! While reading my fashion sewing blog, you'll share with me in my adventures in taking "boring" patterns from drab to fab by creating "inspired" looks pulled straight from those boutiques, the runway and fashion magazines. Also my adventure in learning to tailor and couture sewing techniques.

Seems we will feel the effects of Katrina in Ohio early tomorrow morning. Hopefully, you too will only be getting a lot of rain.
ReplyDeleteI'm also in Birmingham...and sitting up here at work right now hoping they will let us leave early. Most of the schools have closed and I am hoping to not have to drive home in high winds and torrential rain trying to beat the mad rush to the store. My house is surrounded by trees, I am praying they withstand the storm. Be careful.
ReplyDeleteI'm keeping you and the rest of the potential stormpath in my thoughts.
