The LWD | White Dresses for Spring!

1:00 PM

Even though I'm a firm believer in wearing white all-year-round, nothing signifies spring like a LWD!  A milky-hued frock is the perfect blank canvas.  You can take an optic white dress and accessorize it with any color or multiple colors!  Or you can add neutrals, metallics and animal prints.
These are two of my favorite white dresses:  Vogue 1029 and Vogue 1087.  Both made in ponte knits.  This year, I've decided that I want a crisp, white shirtdress for spring.  And probably a sundress in a white crepe de chine for summer.

Are YOU planning a little white dress for this season?

  3. Like you I wasn't a fan of the MK dress when it was first issued, I think the back ruching put me off - but of course now I want it! You look great in white, look forward to seeing your 2013 creation.

    1. AllisonC, I can't tell you how much I disliked this pattern when it was first issued. And then one day I looked at it with fresh eyes and was in love!

  5. I love wearing white. For the past few years I have wore a lot of white clothing during the spring and summer seasons. I even got some white nail polish :) I guess you could say I am channeling my inner LisaRaye Fashionista, lol

  7. Loving those dresses (especially the first one)! I wish I didn't have a built in dirt magnet while wearing white. That combo with the yellow accessories is beautiful!

p.s. I think someone absolutely fabulous who's name begins with an E and ends with an A should do a teensie weensie tutorial on her white shirtdress when she creates it...I'm just sayin'...it's on my list too. :)

Your white dresses are fantastic. I am considering a white eyelet sundress, although I still have little ones with sticky fingers wrapped around my legs, sometimes.
