What I'm Wearing | Daffodil!

12:00 PM

Spring has sprung, and the daffodils are in bloom!

Inspiration:
InStyle - April 2013
Bright and I mean BRIGHT, neon yellow has to be one of my all-time favorite colors.  Every year this time, I have to make a point to purposely avoid buying fabric in this color.
I swear it just jumps out at me in the store!
And I'm also continuing with the lace trend.  What can I say?  I'm hooked and I'm sure there will be more colorful lace to come!
And why stop with the dress?  Let's go with a yellow shoe too!
Wearing:  lace dress: McCall's 6460.  Similar here; and sandals are from DSW.com.

  1. I love this! What a great, cheerful colour and the lace is lovely too. This is the second yellow item I have seen in two days that is starting to make me change my mind about the colour!

  6. It is lovely and you look so great in daffodil. I would look like I should run off to a hospital immediately, unfortunately. I love the lace, it's simply beautiful.

    1. Aline, I'm like that with chartreuse. I would never put that color near my face. Thanks!

  7. I have those shoes. I can't wait to wear them, it just hasn't been enough Spring in the DMV to wear them. :-)

I love both of your lace dresses. That yellow and blue just POPS! I've stayed away from the lace dresses on the racks this year because I thought they would look too matronly on me. Now that I've seen how you styled them, I might just give a few of them a second look!

Looks like you're ready for spring! Looks nice on you! Looks like nice weather in your neck of the woods to compliment even more. :-). Now if the weather would only cooperate up here (it was 27 degrees this AM)! :-)

  10. Gorgeous dress Erica! I actually have a lovely piece of yellow ponte knit (wonderful quality) that I got a few months ago but was scared of the brightness. However after seeing you in your dress I think I will make a dress with it. That color is very complimentary on you.
