What I'm Wearing | McCall's 6404 Leather Leggings

Here is my second pair of leggings from McCall's 6404.  This time I used view D.

I used a faux leather that I found at Hancock.  It has a great deal of stretch and was perfect for leggings.
I love the seaming detail.  It's what set this version apart from the other.  It's topstitched 1/4" from the seam edge.
I haven't actually measured, but the leg opening seem smaller on this version than the other pair I made.
And I also love the trendy aspect of the zippered opening being on the inseam instead of the outside.
Worn with a black turtleneck sweater, a fur gilet and ankle booties.

I can tell you right now this will be a favorite piece for this winter!  I'll be wearing these plenty of times!

You look cool in anything. I would look horrendous in them. Am only pint size with a little too much meat going on. Go Girrrrl.

I would NEVER have thought that a fur vest and leather leggings would make anyone look slimmer, but the combination is SO flattering! I bought this pattern because I saw the leggings on you and thought "now, I could wear that, that looks pretty good!" Not sure I can pull off leather but am trying them in ponteroma this weekend!

Good luck with yours!

So cool! I have been saving a swatch of faux leather for the same type of pants. I only wish it were cold enough to wear something like these here in Maui. They would be perfect for a trip to the mainland though, if I can ever get off this rock, haha. Love your version and I agree, the zip on the inseam is an unexpected unique detail. Nice!

Fabulous! I have yet to show off my leggings (or should I say pants, because I altered them for a slightly wider fit) made from this pattern!
